GERBERT PEČO BRENDTNER

Born in 1956 in Aigen/Schlaegl, upper austria.

1976 moving to Linz, where I worked in different jobs, such as cab driver, in shopping malls, factory worker (Voest-Alpine) and in transportation business.

Around the end of the 80s first tries in painting on wood as well as drawings, leading to a main focus in printing techniques, mainly lino- and woodcut - not least by impulses by Rudi Hoerschlaeger in his printing shop in Oberbuch, later Wallsee/lower austria. Meanwhile the printing stock contains of around 250 pieces.

Since 1993 up to retirement in 2021 I worked in an institution fo disability care.
